☕ copenhagen guide: cafés we actually go to

our current favorites

Copenhagen has no shortage of cafés.
If you’re looking for spots beyond the usual classics like Atelier September, this is a good place to start.

These are the cafés we actually return to.
For coffee, for walks, for slow mornings.

🌿 Holy Bean
By the lakes. Cute, calm, and one of those places that just feels good to be in. Great coffee, the sweetest team, and espresso martinis if you stay long enough.
📍 Ravnsborggade 14A, 2200 København

🥐 Cadence
Our go-to brunch spot. Aussie-inspired, relaxed, and always consistent. One of those places you can rely on.
📍 Ny Carlsberg Vej 40

🌿 Seks
Copenhagen’s best kept secret. Simple as that.
📍 Krystalgade 6

☀️ Artisan
The location. On a sunny day, there’s nowhere better to sit outside and just stay for a while.
📍 Sortedam Dossering 45A

🍞 norange
Really good coffee. Even better buns. A small local team that makes you want to come back.
📍 Blegdamsvej 4D

🥐 Kani
New, tiny, and easy to miss. You probably won’t get a seat, but it doesn’t matter. The pastries are kind of insane.
📍 Vesterbrogade 196

🤍 Sonny
Yes, it’s on the more pricy side. But the quality is always there, and the vibe just works.
📍 Rådhusstræde 5

🚶‍♀️ Lille Fugle
Perfect grab-and-go. Best paired with a long walk through the city.
📍 Gammel Strand 48

🌿 Lille Petra
A small garden courtyard hidden in the city. Soft, quiet, and one of the cutest spots when the weather is nice.
📍 Kronprinsessegade 4

🍵 Freds
Mostly a takeaway spot. Especially if you’re into good matcha.
📍 Farvergade 2

🌅 Darcy’s Kaffe
Opens early on weekdays. Perfect for slow mornings before everything starts.
📍 Rantzausgade 2

💫 Roe Bar
Good coffee, beautiful space. Ideal for a coffee date with your girlfriends.
📍 Vognmagergade 9
