When the sun comes out in Copenhagen, everything shifts. Plans become more spontaneous, days stretch a little longer, and suddenly everyone is outside.

Whether you’re looking for a glass of wine, a coffee in the sun or a place to meet friends, these are some of our favourite spots to catch the light around the city.

🍷 Rosforth & Rosforth

A small, slightly hidden wine spot tucked underneath the bridge. It feels a bit like a secret, with people gathering outside when the sun hits just right.

Perfect for a casual glass of wine that turns into a longer evening.

🌊 La Banchina

Late sun, water views and one of the most special atmospheres in the city. You can sit, have a drink and even go for a swim if you feel like it.

One of those places you stay longer than planned.

A relaxed, slightly buzzing spot in Vesterbro that’s perfect when you want sun and a bit of atmosphere.

Great for early evening drinks with friends.

A cozy spot with outdoor seating that catches the light beautifully. Also a great option if you want to stay for dinner after.

Easy, social and always a good vibe.

Right by the lakes, this is one of those spots where you can sit for hours watching the city move around you. A proper lakeside terrace bar that really comes alive when the sun is out.

Perfect for drinks in the afternoon sun.

A laid-back spot in the heart of Vesterbro. Simple, local and great for sitting outside with a drink.

Feels like a neighborhood favorite.

One of the most social sun spots in the city. Right by the water, with a mix of locals and people just passing through.

Perfect for a casual drink by the canal.
