Snow Trip! 2027
What to Expect
After much demand and anticipation, we’re excited to finally get this trip out of the group chat!! It’ll be the same wholesome vibes and community you know and love, on a trip to the slopes.
One big chalet, plenty of skiing, and lots of shared spaces to hang together. The most important thing for us is having a week full of memories, smiles and new friendships!
❋ Social snow trip! We’ll also organise some fun evening activities: wine tastings, movie nights, sauna hangs, a paint & sip session, skincare night and of course spritzes on the mountain!
❋ Cozy nights in the chaletWe’ll plan and shop for all your food needs, but prepare the meals family style together so you can both enjoy the social cooking and cater to individual diets.
❋ Group dinners, aprés & breakfastsWe’re thinking of this as a group trip more than a guided retreat - so you still have the freedom to relax, ski extra, explore a neighbour town, whatever you like.
❋ Plenty of freedom to do you

The group will be a complete mix of ski/snowboard experience levels, and we trust people will split off into smaller groups during the day according to what kind of slopes you would like to explore.
This makes the trip perfect for everyone - including complete beginners - because you have the freedom to take things at your own level and pace. It will be possible to arrange some ski/snowboard lessons if you would like (at an extra cost, through a ski school that is completely independent to us).
-
You are welcome to join for as little or as much as you like, we understand that everyone has different availabilities with work and studies! We’ve intentionally left your flights, transfers and lift pass up to you to book individually for this reason exactly - so you can tailor the trip to suit you and only pay for what you need.
However, most chalets are only bookable with a 7-night-minimum-stay, so the group trip price is flat-rate: no matter how many nights you’re staying.
-
As always with the Wholesome CPH community, everyone is welcome! That means all genders.
-
Both are welcome! Many joining will be coming solo, and we’ve organised many social and group activities with this in mind so that by the end - we’re all friends with many fond memories.
But of course you’re also welcome to bring a friend or partner too and enjoy the trip together. We’ll ensure that you can share a room together, but we hope that you both come with the intention to be social amongst the larger group: that is the whole point of our comunity trip.
-
The chalets have a mix of rooms, including both double and single beds, and we will try our best to configure room arrangements to best accommodate everyone: but it’s hard to promise anything specific until we have the guest list!
No matter what, you will be sharing: there are no single rooms. But we think this is what will make it more fun and social - being bunk buddies makes for a closer friendship!
-
We are in ‘Champagny-en-Vanoise’ village, which is directly connected to the La Plagne – Paradiski ski area.
La Plagne has 225km of connected slopes, and with a Paradiski pass, you can also explore Les Arcs, which gives you a total of 425km of slopes.
We may also take a day trip to the Les 3 Valleés region (it’s only a 30-minute shuttle away), which has another 600km of slopes. So there is plenty of snow to explore!!
-
We can’t promise if the chalet is ski in/ski out, as it depends on how much fresh snow there is when we are there. But, we are only 100m walk away from the lift and 200m away from the slopes so rest assured that we are very well connected.
-
We have left equipment hire totally up to you. You can either bring your own with you on the flights, or hire when you get there.
There are a few different hire stores in the local village that you can rent ski boots, skis, snowboards, poles and helmets from. This will be at an extra cost, through a shop that is completely independent to us.
We recommend bringing with you ski goggles, ski jacket & pants, ski socks, and many warm layers. There are very few options to rent these items, and while you can definitely buy them, they can be quite expensive inside the resort.
